I feel ya man, we kinda slept in shifts some nights I wasn't working nights then. He slept in our room by the bed for the first couple months so it was just like laying in the darkness alert as hell lol. My girlfriend just like picked a spot in our recliner and didn't move for like 2 months (exaggerating ofc) and just sat with him, he got down to 6 lbs after birth, was so tiny.

ya he was 6lbs 15ounces when we left they said that was normal. My wife and i slept on the couch together last night and his basinet is right in front of us. She wakes me up to burp him and when she needs to get up and use the bathroom she does the feeding obviously but i burp and change atm
