I thought the exact same thing! I dunno why it wasn't in the news, but I suppose it's not really "CURED". But even then... it's still a huge step towards a cure and should've been more known.
I don't remember what article it was, but I'm pretty sure I found it while playing around on google when I was high.
I also learned that you have a 31% less chance of catching the HIV virus if you are circumsized. Basically I win.
