3 men walk into a motel to rent out a room. The room is $30 a night, so each man pays 10 dollars and they make their way to the room.

Shortly afterwards, the desk clerk realizes the room was only supposed to cost $25. The clerk got the bellboy to bring the men their $5. On the way their the bellboy thought he would make the math easier by taking a $2 dollar tip, and giving each man $1 back. In the end, each man paid $9 totaling $27 and the bellboy took $2 equalling $29 dollars. What happened to the other dollar?

They actually got charged $27 for the room ($25 plus the 2 dollars she kept). This left $3 from the original $30 which she returned to the men. ^^

yea. 25$ for the room + 2$ tip = 27 dollars. 3$ returned to the men = 30 dolla
