so i had to make up a animal for zoology class
here it is
My animal started out as a tiger and then over many years of hunting and many years of small evolution modifications it grew wings so it could catch birds, because that’s its favorite meal. He then mated with a lion for the mane so it can be warm on cold nights. The tigers stripes only hide it so much so it mated with a jaguar and took over its unique pattern. For the rattle on the tail it grew that to warn other animals that he was on the hunt and not to be bothered. Why the long tongue? My animal got tired of losing generations and generations in the water hole from alligators cause of how close they had to be to get water so they eventually grew a longer tongue so the distance to get water was expanded. The fire is to burn trees down when it cant climb to eat monkeys so it just burns down all the trees so the monkeys cant run and swing away in the trees, it also keeps the animal warm on cold nights , it can start up a fire.
