all that meat does sound tasty. i've never tried a meat pie ever, even at my grandmas for xmas, i always fill up on other goodies
but the way you make it sound, its a good recipe for young men like ourselves, imma have to give it a shot!
its really simple to make.. just half cook the corn and peas in a pot, cook the meat fully ( or ground SOY for veg heads like my fiancee)... and mash up a pot of tadies... simple to build in pie plates from there.. even those square or rectangle glass pyrex dishes work great..
1) its simple and easy
2) it covers 3 food groups (healthy) meats, veggies, and dairy..
3) its good for a snack, lunch, or dinner.. cold OR hot... just remember to put ketchup on it... or even some bbq sauce/hp sauce/ dianna sauce... depends on the induviduals taste...
EDIT: i cook my ground beef with a pinch of salt, pinch of ground cumin (its a herb, cuts down on cholesterol and improves bloodflow), pinch of white pepper, 2-4 pinches of chili powder, a few tablespoons full of dianna or bbq sauce.. and last but not least a few shakes of worchestershire sauce... fry up the meat.. and its good to go..
as for the mashed tadies.. i use butter not margerine.. a few good tablespoons in the pot.. mash up what i can to start.. then i put in a few tablespoons of sour cream, some diced chives, 1 tablespoon of dhamarra sugar (rawest form of sugar, basically right off of the sugar cane), and add milk to concistancy you like.. i like my tadies REALLY creamy/smooth (no lumps)...
