B is just better i guess

D is does not make sense
E is passive voice

but B didn't make sense to me because the subject is female but it seems to me that the subject changed to "any females" which kinda ruins the context i guess.

A is just a bad answer
the commas dont do anything, and it sounds right when spoken, but grammatically those commas arent needed, which would lead the words to sound bad
i dont pay attention to passive voice and all those terms, i got like a 95% on those types of problems by logic

and it is wordy.

but its correct because it "if any" is an assertion to "what females that are in his vicinity"

but the thing is that that part is part of the Question.

if it was is a different answer and not in the question i would of not chose that.

but it is in the question so that's why i picked that because B seems to change the subject on the bird part.

maybe i am just paying too much attention to that...
