With Sorcs out of the three elements it is true light does most dmg.
However fast casting element of a sorc is fire.
a gg vita build sorc can be 105 fcr and hit around 23k. u can get anything from 17/5's and up with all 45 lifers. ur sorc vita should be around.. 2.6k-3k. it is also easier to tank other elements in SvS with vita + chilling armor. with a high lvl chilling armor the dmg does less dmg + a chance to reflect an attack back. (also useful in duels against fucking zons)
orb sorcs + vita + max chilling armor's are amazing. however i prefer fire. its a long range attack element and plus it can be extremely fast depending on ur fcr. i can go on for days i just really dont wanna break down every piece of it haha. i mean Es yes they have to go threw mana and life. but mana is easier to go threw life. and when u only have 1k life and 3k mana... ur sitting there like dead meat to be honest. if u plan on doing SvS dont waste ur time with spirit shield. u will need massive res (gm ofc) and the setup i have will have great res + chilling armor = less dmg and chance to just tank.

SvA Vita > Es. Light Sorc = no good unless Ts tbh. Even in pub duels u still have to get close and personal. ur better of being a blizz for pubs if u dont go orb or fire. with orb u can spam tele. fb u can stand back fire fire fire and then dodge. light u gotta be a certain distance...
