I didn't read what she wrote entirely perhaps I should, but I really feel bad for eric. He's a man of his word and he doesn't make excuses. From the conversation I read that zeal3 posted you guys really confused eric. He was really unclear as to what was going on and I could pull quotes but I won't bother unless necessary. To me, it seems that from the conversation, his argument is very very relevant and clear and seems to be backed up by what was said. What's done is done I suppose I was going to suggest perhaps you 2 split the difference. I will say, if this was me in erics position, and I say this unbiasedly, and I was playing a 50k game vs someone I did not agree to play directly, I would be livid and would be saying the same exact thing as eric. I really do find it to be BM, from a logical standpoint and I think it should have been done over, but that's just me. Yes I am aware that this is actually common for some of those high stakes guys, they view it that a game is a game and that is it. I can't say I agree, but my judgment is not a rule maker in this case ;d I know that this was not meant to be foul play, I just think that next time, or for the future you could state what's going on before the game goes down and cards are delt ya know? I totally understand that this was a common practice, that this whole thing was a misunderstanding that was not meant to mix eric up or confuse him. You did not intentionally do anything. I just think that if a mediator is going to play, he should have made things clear. Really i almost find him at fault for not being responsible. A mediator needs to be responsible. I think that mediators can play for me, since everyone else does that and I did that many times before (odds for all in games are 50/50 no matter what)

No i agree that the game was fair, there was no "fowl play" in this at all, it was a misunderstanding that caused drama that could have been avoided. No question the mediator can play for you, but in my opinion it should be clear exactly what's taking place and what is going on.
