my first char was a barb , had no eq on no clue how to play.  i set the first 10 points into vita and the rest depends on which item you use. if you prefer to use a sword ,skill dex  to get more and better crits. If you want to play with an axe , skill str to make good base dmg.

if you want to start a mage , set everything into int.
