Oh a LS question: Should I just remake the mage that passed his MQ as a mage or go sammy to catacomb (leech mostly then) and make another mage?

Well...I guess it depends...

You could go with mage again to try and get items, but really that's the only purpose of going feeder again because you get only 1gp even if you pass and you can never unlock anything else...or you could go sammy and then make another character as a mage to use your good gear there and climb the sammy in catacombs (you can get pretty cheap melee stuff that's good enough for cataing) in order to keep climbing the ladder.

No problem. It's what I do - my heavy armor/axe set is very good (about to get better, haha) and great for soloing so I solo my fighter just to mf and then I climb my monk (which has gear that's not so great) just to keep climbing. I mostly cata with the monk when I can find a good group.

problem here is that sammy can only use daggers and swords..and damn they're expensive on HC =/ But I didn't want to go caster on such a good melee char (which I did with my fighter) so my only option will be to find some catas^^

Hardcore is a whole different story when it comes to buying new gear for a character - I could see where that would be a problem.
