then i uninstalled on user2.... and it uninstalled on both........?

like I said above, you have to make sure you are opening the correct D2 instance. This means you have to go to the folders, and open the D2 from there.

Or, what I did before is on User2, I go to the copied installation, sent a shortcut of the exe to the desktop, and on User1, go to the regular installation, and do the same.

so once i re download d2 + d2lod on user1. do i just rename the diablo II folder? change it to Diablo2 or something?

I'll try to lay it out clearly one last time:

1. Install D2+LoD completely, full installs, fully updated. Copy music.mpq from the discs over to installation folder.
2. RENAME the installation folder to something else.
3. Reinstall D2+LoD completely again, with a different set of CD-Keys (for both Classic AND LoD)
4. In User1, open up the most recent installation folder, and open that D2 from there.
5. In User2, open up the installation folder you RENAMED earlier, and open that D2 there.
6. Use Windows-Key+L to quick switch between the two users.

one more question wat u mean by music.mpq?? how do i get it from the discs?? and installation folder, u mean the actualy diablo II folder right?


edit: the music.mpq file is already in the diabloII folder??
