It was a blast. Half the time it was pretty cold though because the fog rolled in(gotta keep in mind the sand dunes in oregon are RIGHT off the ocean)

I got to ride one of the honda 450r quads. The horsepower difference between it and my 400ex was insane. My 400ex has a few mods done too, nothing serious (exhuast, air filter and rejetted carberator) and the 450 was bone stock. Other then that can't beat camping, riding quads during the day and boozing it at night

would of loved to have gone with.. been years since i've been dune running... my old quad is sitting burried in a rock quary right now a side bank of the rock quary caved in while i was wall riding.... i bailed and booked it as fast as i could... couldnt find the quad after 2 weeks of digging and searching so i gave up...

Wow. That sucks. But at least you made it out of there. Your life>>>>>>>>>>>A quad. That's crazy it was buried so deep you couldn't find it after two weeks =/

theres a few old quaries around here that have been sitting dormant where everyone goes to run their quads/bikes durring the summer and snowmobiles durring the winter... theres even a spot to do a "hill climb" its almost straight up lol.. i did it 3 times.. succeeded twice, and rolled the quad the last.. :(.. but meh.. it was fun.. i go out in the winter with my snomobile a lot.. polaris indy 650 with a quad plate racing clutch, 1 1/2 ft extended track, racing suspension, racing exhaust, bored block 1/8 inch, forged aluminum pistons, racing cam, k&n air oil and inline fuel filter, and a nos fogger sys (5 shot)... its my baby.. been thinking of getting the summer conversion kit for it.. so i can run it with a slick track and the "wheeled" ski's at the front.. but thats more money.. all money right now is going to finish paying off the 12k i have owing on my house.. and going into my truck..
