Oh...and a word of advice for any of our younger members who are looking at buying their own car:
I just figured out that in the 3 years I've owned my own car(s)...it has cost me roughly $28 720...this includes initial purchase price, insurance, gas, repairs, modifications and regular maintenance and minus the price I have resold cars for. The combined realistic resale value of the two vehicles I have now is about $8000. That's over $20 000 down the shitter in just 3 years.
Yeah I've had kinda bad luck with random shit going wrong (my first car was an absolute lemon)...but still...cars are a money pit...and if you're on a student budget (like me)...think about it.
