Yea but if I don't install wine then it won't do a thing to my OS, I have it installed atm but that can be fixed with one simple line of code "sudo pacman -R wine" Even if I had it installed only wine would be affected(although not a good idea to set your c drive in wine to your actual windows partition(I've done this before))

I see no reason why it could mess with your home folder (thru z:/home/chris), but that's highly unlikely.
Obviously shouldn't have permission to mess anywhere else.

Yes that's my point, although if you open up winecfg and edit the cdrive location to /dev/sda(insert windows partition location here) then everything in your windows partition gets used by wine, and to add to that, if you download a virus andrun it, it can seriously mess up your windows partition, but linux will always be safe as far as I'm concerned. If someone wants a windows partition they can set it up using Virtualbox OSE, any other way is a waste of disk space imo.
