you voted NO because chuck wants everyone to be active and participate more?

its unfair to members like pavo who have been up for vote for 2 and a half days and only accumulated 6 or so votes

but when pissed247 gets put up for vote bam bam bam 10-15 votes in a day

the point is, it doesn't matter who is being voted on, getr done
the result is the result and we everyone will have to live with

but when we have to base our acceptances on 6 votes, thats sad

You're right. It is unfair.

But part of the problem though is trying to vote on someone you're not familiar with. Every time that issue comes up, I hate saying no, I can't honestly say yes, and I really dislike going off other peoples opinions. That seems to me, to be the reason that situation you have pointed out arises. People are familiar with Pissed247 so they casted their vote on him right away, where as with Pavo, who seems to be a GM guy is less known, thus harder to vote on.

ok? fair enough

but look at it from a guild leader / co-leader perspective ; ppl we put in a position to make responsible decisions for this guild are showing no desire to vote on him, no heads up, no nothing

as far is it could go, the votes could be tallied without your opinion in there. at least leave something

yes there is no doubt about all of that

but what's to say we can't give people a chance? we have no real reason to say no on a guy like pavo ( just an example ) except for acivity

True. And I vote everytime. If I don't know them I try and go by everyone elses impression of the person to the best of my ability. I was just pointing out what exactly was going on.

ok here is my very simple solution to all this no more bs fighting i want that to stop now

If you have a vote you can choose to use your vote or not use it if you choose not to use it for the current member then just say null nobody is getting demoted for anything

have a good day lol

oh and i think that maybe putting a time limit on the voting like 48 hours would be good too and at the end of 48 hours we tally the votes like that and whoever didnt vote is SOL please look at the notebox daily though

It wasn't meant as BS fighting. No hostility was meant at all. I was just explaining what was going on.

I also agree with your idea.

as long as everyone in here trusts one another's judgement, that is a viable solution

my point being that, if someone misses a vote on someone they really felt should ( or should not ) have been in guild, we might see another situation like this
