probally up to 1k, is it a huge difference from 700 to 1k?

u need 2 first decide on what screen size u want, ur min amount of GB for hard drive, processor, etc

this will help, i use AMD processors now, get more power 4 cheaper, so just fyi

and screen size will change price a lot, so deciding that will help

around 15-16" for screen size?

most laptops ive looked at have about 320GB harddrives

And around a 2 GHz processor i think?

ok, what about inputs and outputs? vga, dvi, s vid, etc
