oh ya don't go running in skateboarding shoes its probably not good for you're feet.

aslo i can give u really good tips on jogging once you start so pm once u get those shoes.

im personally against anything gym style exercise. people also dont always understand what muscle looks like. just cause your "ripped" dosent mean your strong. compact muscle strands are what you need then you build apon that and compress that again and so on till your truly strong.

imo, do natural daily things that you will use your muscles for in real life. if your in a rural area like me use less machinery and do more things manually (cutting wood is a great example)

if your in the city its harder for you because of the space but really you just have to be more creative. i do free running, which i wont call parkour because im not a crazy master jumpin from buildings like these guys that are incredible athletes haha. i do find more difficult places to run though and scale walls with as little use of my arms as possible. take up kendo or just basic use of a bokken if you enjoy sword play. incredible workout for your entire body especially your upper arms and hands.

but most importantly like i said, make sure its something you'll actually do naturally and eventually you'll be doing exercise without knowing it. and its FUN.

well i hate to say this but quite honestly thats kinda dumb what ur saying, why would professional body builders, ufc fighters, boxers, basically every kind of athlete be hitting the gym if it was not good for building muscles and strength.

don't get me wrong its good to do all kinda of exercises not just gym weights.

well thats their job thats different. im talkin the average joe. you dont need to pull a truck with your teeth or anything irl so why train like that lmao? and as for your thing on staying active and sticking with what you do, what better way to do that than to actually enjoy it? or if you hate even the thought of exercise then atleast this way you can fully understand how you'll use it in life. im not saying your wrong, im just saying i personally dont agree with the gym method.

my reason for wanting to go to the gym and get strong is not because i wana move cargo. i do it because i want to get big and brolic and i want people to be intimidated by the size of my arms. idk if u have any friends who are much stronger then u but i do and it sucks when they mess around with u and bitch u around cause theres nothing u can do or say cause they can rip off you're arm. i'm on a quest for power and the only way how i will achieve what i want is to be dedicated and go to the gym.

my friend josh hes fucking crazy strong anyways one time me and him were just messing around and he can honestly kick my ass with his fucking feet. anyways he just rushes at me grabs my hands and he is just pushing me back, and i try and stop him from pushing me back but i couldn't he was just so strong i couldn't do anything against him. made me think what if it was someone i didn't want pushing me back like a foe (of course now not every person is build like my friend josh either)... i wouldn't have been able to do anything, so that was one reason why i realized being strong and hitting the gym is very important.

haha yeah im the tall kid so i luckily get the greater muscle potential and height advantage on them. im passive personally and dont hang around with dick heads so fights arent an issue. plus im more of the use their own force against them type. fun to see them throw a punch, i sidestep and throw them off balance with a simple nudge. tis the limited fighting prowess of a high school'er these days "flail and hope for damage"

well my friends really aren't dick heads but we mess around with each other sometimes ya know, i'm very laid back and chill and i believe u should treat people the way u would like to be treated but my friends have there own values and most of them like tough love (witch personal i think sucks) but it works to an extent if it wasen't for all ther tough love i would not be the man i am today.
