Oh! The owners of the house we bid on accepted the offer! Now we only have to wait for their bank to agree (they're selling for WAY less than what they owe, I'm sure), but the foreclosure proceeds are literally about to begin, so we're incredibly optimistic! Totally just had a mild heart attack at the news. Kinda flipping out.
