rest and vitamin c. dont over do the water. you can actually over flush your system and start cleaning out the good shit too which deff dosent help you.
for all the sick ppl try a cup or 2 of tea with lemon or honey if you can, plenty of orange juice (prolly 3 glasses is enough), then keep your liquids goin to with water or flat soda. eat light food if your not keeping things down like saltines or pretzels, and if your stomach is good then move on to chicken noodle soup (i prefer the stars lol) and vegetable soup with beef broth.
sleep at least 8 hours if possible and keep warm. dont let in bed like your dead though, worst thing you can do. atleast be sitting up right so your head drains and the shit dosent lay in your throat and chest.
other than that (which is exactly what any doctor or grandmother will tell you) you have to let your body fight off the infection. dont take meds besides maybe a pain reliever or fever reducer unless its life threatening in any way or if you have abnormal symptoms such as coughing blood or anything like that ofc.
