There isnt any hardware problem but software problem there is no restore cd no antivirus so it is hard to restore a new os and install drivers but it may be done with a flashdrive and downloading from gateway's website or ordering a restore cd on their site if viruses are found and need a new restore to start clean which is the situation here he wants to start clean but there wasnt any restore cd when i purchased it thru the manufacturer this can be solved by going to the website.

I wasn't planning on changing the OS. I was planning on running the Vista that came with the laptop.
Since you are still POSTING here, I will make this public for everyone to see. You have not shown transparency with your item. When I received it, with my caution, I decided to take it to my school's IT center and have it fully scanned. What did I find?

porn.God knows what else is hidden in this computer.tl;dr

You will be paid very soon, when YOU can help me get a Full Restore CD from Gateway, period, end of story. I will be speaking to Lajo about the matter soon.
