Yea i really just wanna wait for the new windows 7

same here, got a budget copy of windows xp pro to use for now and ill just wait and get 64bit w7

finally got my new PSU and RAM so shes purrin away so far

Nice i went a lil bit cheaper on my build unfortunatly i only spend around 700

my total ended up being around 1200-1250 total /w OS

+ my monitor which was $150

well i didnt buy a tower monitor power supply key board or mouse either lol i just got a new motherboard memory processor and video card and spent around 700

im happy with my 955BE and my 4870

which together are about $435 or so
+ my mobo was $190

so $725 or so for just the mobo, proc, and graffixx


then of course memory was $65, hardrive was $100, power supply was about $125, DVD rom was $25, case was $60 etc ^^

yea i just used stuff i currently had

mine was from scratch, i sold my old desktops, didnt keep anything (cause chances are after 2 years not much is compatible anyways beyond HDD's and CD/DVD drives

even power supplys have connectors that change and more power demands etc
