Gosh i work out 3-4 times a week, and still i aint in any good shape

Im trying to work out 3 times a week. Usually i do my warm-up on an excersie bike for 10 min, then i start lifting some weights, and finish off with some sit-ups.
Ive gained too much weight on my middle age body so im training to get that flat stomach for beach 2010
