Doom is pretty useless imho....

Just have holy freeze merc if you really want, I had passion on zeal switch and df on orb switch Worked great

I'd like to try out bow sorcs though.. Even with bad gear, I just tested the screen damage with kuko, it was 20k+ fire damage. Sounds pretty nasty for piercing fire ball

Thinking about buying or of flames now...

Char screen is bugged regarding masteries and ranged attacks.

For skills like Enchant, +% damage (such as Fire Mastery) is applied twice with melee attacks. Once when Enchant is cast and again on attack. With ranged weapons, the +% damage bonus is only applied when enchant is cast, yet the character screen incorrectly shows it being applied on attack.

Your actual damage is a fraction of what is shown on the character screen.

Yeah I've heard of that.

But it doesn't change the fact that I'd like to try one of those

what about warshrikes, they have pierce and you can melee with them too

With Kuko (or anything that shoots exploding arrows), you get splash damage, so you can be way more effective.

Demon Machine + Razortail = Good pierce, too
