Hello COT, I hope everyone is well.
I went out to a Christmas party Saturday at my wifes work, she works in a large hotel downtown so they have the staff party after New Years when all the other parties are over and its less busy. It was a blast, it was a very nicely decorated and 200 people attended and we started with a nice buffet dinner. The had a couple of bottles of wine and everyone seemed to be drinking the red and I ended up drinking half a bottle of white to myself lol.
After dinner they had some interesting games, one that I participated in called for 10 couples. The men and were lined up and seated in chairs and the did the same with the women which were lined up about 30 feet across from the guys. They instructed the women that they will be blind folded then they need to cross to the other and sit on a mans lap. (of course they are aiming for their partner) But when they put the blind folds on they made the men move to different chairs lol The last women sitting on a guys lap and the last guy to have a women on his lap were out of the game, they continued until only one couple was left, it was a lot of fun.
Once the games were done it was the dance and I danced and drank like I was 25 and enjoyed my self dancing all night. It was a great time. The next day however I felt like I was 95 lol. I had a sore knee and hip and I could barely walk and had a bit of a hang-over. We stayed overnight at the hotel at a special rate so we wouldn’t have to drive and didnt get up at 1pm lol. Woke up, took a couple alka seltzer and went out and had steak and eggs for brunch. I spent most of the day recovering from the night before lol but it was all worth it.
