The only other bird I have seen do this is the white breasted nuthatch but a lot less common that the chickadee. As for warblers, any place where there is lots of trees and bushes and if there is water nearby even better. Warblers are curious and will come closer towards you when you spish them. Thx for identifying the chckadee.
Stony has lot of trees, bushes and water.
There was a birds-look-out cabin but i guess they must have took it down as I did not see it last time we were there.
And have you been to Plaisance in QC?...
That's another place for migrating birds to transit but that place doesn't have a lot of trees... just a big big fields.
