Really no point in playing non-ladder.

And barbs and the like generally aren't too good shortly after a reset (except as a bo-whore for a party), since they need good, hard-to-get weapons to get any decent kill speed, whereas casters don't.

if you want a good barb I can give ya the best build via no rune words to b awesome in ladder I have used this build many times and it is just awesome he's a warcry-frenzy barb rarely gets hit and with no I'm he cannot die the only way I died was I killed my self with I'm and then I just used beserk skill when I'm was cast upon me so as long as I had mana while I attacked I was fine he was a mace barb I really only used 1 runeword for his armor everything else was game oriented stuff and the alternate armor for no runeword was arkaine valor pm me if you want this exact build I had for him but you can use many diff weapons for and runewords to make him shine.
