Military gets paid for working 24/7

how often do you actually "work"?

Where I'm at now my hours are
0715-1530
7:15 am til 3:30 pm

Stay late somedays, get out early somedays..etc.

idk, ive never understood why people join the military
any reasons that you joined?

I wasn't mature enough to handle college..Because in High School I basically passed by getting lazy, not doing homework and copying answers from other people and such.
So I didn't want to waste the money my mom was saving for me to go to college and now I have that as a nice building block whenever I go out alone, and I have free education in the military, and an $80k GI Bill to go to a college free afterwards

it seems like a lot of people go there if they cant afford college or didnt do "good" in high school, but i dont see any other reasons tbh

Yeah it's not bad.
And it wasn't because I didn't do "good" in high school lol..When I was younger, I was always #1 in class etc...Around high school I just got lazy and such.

well ya, i quoted good cause i didnt mean to sound like a bitch haha and i didnt really mean grades
but ya, it seems like you get quite the deal when you get out, college is basically paid for and on top of that you have all the money that you saved
