Iso oppinions or ideas:
System will consist of two JL 12w6v2's:
The amp pwering them will give them each 250 rms which should sound decent.
http://mobile.jlaudio.com/images/7845.jpg

This is the amp driving the subs:

500/1v2 Class D Monoblock Subwoofer Amplifier Specifications:
500/1v2
Rated Power: 500 W RMS @ 1.5 ohm - 4 ohm (11V-14.5V)
THD at Rated Power: <0.05% @ 4 ohm

+12V and Ground connections: Accept up to 4 AWG wire

And this amp for the mids/highs

300/4v2 Class A/B Four-Channel Full-Range Amplifier Specifications:
300/4v2
Rated Power (4 Channel Mode): 75 W RMS x 4 @ 1.5 ohm-4 ohm (11V-14.5V)
Rated Power (Bridged to 2 Channel): 150 W RMS x 2 @ 3 ohm-8 ohm (11V-14.5V)
THD at Rated Power: <0.03% @ 4 ohm per ch.

+12V and Ground connections: Accept up to 4 AWG wire

Now, the question is how to get power to them.

Should I run a kit like this:

1/0 AWG MetaWire 12-Volt Power Connection System for Two Amplifiers, 1500W to 2500W, Blue/Clear wire
Basically its 1/0 gauge from battery to a dist block, then 4 gauge to the amps.

-or-

4 AWG MetaWire 12-Volt Power Connection System for Single Amplifier, 400W to 750W, Blue/Clear wire
With a kit like this I would run 4 gauge from the battery to a capacitor, then run 4 gauge from the cap to each amp.

Let me know what you guys think.

edit: obviously the first one will be more than sufficient, but will the second option work as efficiently? It is far cheaper and easier to install.

Beats me lol

I have a 10 inch diesel audio sub with a 1000 watts West coast customs amp and a gg kenwood mp3 cd

also using something that packs up energy called a capacitor or something
