Feel absolutely heart broken. The people have succumbed to fear and manipulation from the British establishment. However, this is not the end. This is just the beginning. For the first time, we have had a genuine debate about our sovereignty. Working class people have been politicised and mobilised in large numbers and have been engaged in the political process, some, for the first time in their lives. Over 1 million scots have rejected Westminster - this campaign cannot die. Yes voters, please do not give up hope. We have to keep fighting for a fairer society. It might not be our moment tonight, but I believe that one day, we will get the change we need to build a better Scotland!
Great day to see where my fellow Scot's priorities lie. Forget the bairns reliant on food banks and the imminent destruction of our NHS, lets have nukes, illegal wars and the house of lords!
Really sad day for Scotland, scary that the majority of our people want to live under an anti-democratic government and austerity. Still love my country but what an absolute gutter.
Fear 1-0 Hope.
Absolutely devastated with that result. I cannot believe the majority of people living in Scotland have denied their own country independence. Just saying that is shameful and embarrassing. Seeing Tory and Labour activists dancing, cheering and singing together after each no vote was declared is mind-blowing. Imagine voting to stay part of a country where your vote in general elections has no chance of making a difference on the final outcome. Can't get my head around it. Not sure how people can believe staying with the UK can benefit us more than having full control of our own country but I suppose that's life and I have to respect other people's views.
