The worst kept secret about /fit/ is that 90% of this board is composed of fucking delusional retards who honestly think this shit helps their spaghetti-filled social lives or that it matters to anyone else outside of this immediate community, aside from the few and far between curlbros at the gym who will "mire" their 3plate DL and the occasional slut feeling up their bis at a bar... Not that it matters, since they won't know how to move the conversation from there, anyway.
It's pathetic, but there are guys who post on here who are legitimately strong or legitimately aesthetic and get shit on by ugly skinnyfat strangers because of their warped collective idea of what is realistic/achievable/easy to obtain/etc. I can't even count the times I've laughed at some asshole Anon posting "LOL ONLY 3 PLATE!!!" knowing he couldn't budge 2 himself.
On top of that, nearly every one of their "goal bodies" posted is on anabolic compounds and almost NONE of them realize how hard it is to get to the same place without them, so they'll shit on gear and talk up SS and compounds and "hard work" and blah blah not realizing that at the level the people with their "goal bodies" are at, minor variances in diet and routine don't mean fuckall, what matters is how dry you are for a photoshoot, how good the lighting is and how well you timed your cycle.
When you DO have an occasional voice of reason (quad, camb, etc.) they'll try their hardest to be pedants and run them out before the knowledgeable posters shatter their stupid fucking world view of "FIRST I DO DA COMPOUNDS, DEN I GET DA GAINS! THEN I BE ALPHA AND GIRLS AND AESTHETICS CAN BE ALL MINE," not realizing that in the very next thread over, they're all still showing the same old beta insecurities by falling for easy trolls like height/dick/black/tfwnogf threads.
