MPORTANT NOTES ABOUT SPLIT STANDINGS
The top six teams at the end of the summer split will advance to the playoffs (the EU Regionals at Gamescom).
The top two teams advance directly to the playoffs semifinals bracket.
The bottom two teams are automatically entered into the spring 2014 promotion tournament where they will compete against challengers to avoid relegation.
In the case of ranking ties between two or more teams, their head-to-head record will be the tiebreaker. If any teams remain tied, the teams will play to determine a winner.
The top five teams at the end of playoffs will return in the spring split next year while the No. 6 team may face relegation in the spring 2014 promotion tournament.
The top three teams at the end of the summer playoffs will represent Europe at the World Championship in September.
