Dear Hippy Generation
Fuck you for your lies to us. You taught us that we could make a difference while you fell in line. You told us that everything was gonna be alright while you DID FUCKING NOTHING to make sure it would be. You told us that we could create our own reality and then you destroyed it. Where you parents taught you of responsibility and self pride, they taught you of community and self respect. You threw this away and taught us what? Family is a limited time fucking offer? Hold others responsible for you mistakes? And PRIDE ... no not pride but ARROGANCE ... an arrogance to think that someone owes you something and self respect is something found in a judges court.
Your generation believes that your entitled to everything ... hippy deadbeat children that became worthless hardcore crazy neo-cons on one side and the other Marxist liberal nut jobs both following the drums of your master.
Its funny that our modern histories greatest generation was responsible for having modern histories worst generation. You should have been spanked more often.
Your generation will pass and that desperate and sad mark shall mark histories pages only as lessons to us all what personal selfishness and hateful passion bring a culture programmed by their idiot boxes programming. I vow that my generation shall never fall into the same trap and will not let our country be a question of who is the worst choice so that they may pick the other. My generation will not form a line to the tax man so that I may exchange my worth for promises of times that will never come. My generation will remind your masters that they may only rule as long as we let them.
I watched for 8 years while one party played politics with the other... and 8 years before watch the other play politics the same... but they are no different. Its the same game with different players one side lets the other at bat so as to keep its audience full of hope. If you want to know who wins just check to see what side managed to get the most of you poor fools to pay for their 4 year party.
If you think that you will see change ..... the definition of insanity is to do the same thing over and over again expecting different outcomes. Change WILL NOT COME .... no matter how much you hope. You have been promising change for to long .. now my generation has no other choice.

Someone asked me what I am going to do with all of my new found arrogant wisdom .....(he was not as rude about it as I deserve)
Yeah ... ya know ... I may have pissed off a few people .... my mom kinda broke it down for me .... I won't try to re scribe what she said but it sums up into:
"Your right ... we kinda screwed up son... we should have listened to our parents and we didn't .... but neither did you. You are angry at us for not following the wisdom of our parents .... well my generation is wiser now and you can either listen first hand to our advise or you can rail against it and the when your kids grow up they will hear our wisdom and say YOUR SO FUCKING STUPID.... and the cycle will continue. Son do you have all the answers because if you do this only proves one thing.... like us then and you now ... your probably wrong."
Sometimes I look at the world we are in and am quick to judge my parents generation. Maybe what I have learned is that her generation only got it right because they were so wrong in their youth... It has occured to me now that my grandparents fixed this country in their late 40's .... my parents generation is now in their early 50's .... not that much different.
I have to apologize for my words in haste ... sometimes when you are younger you tend to blame the generation before and then rail against them. my mom said she would accept the apology only for one reason ... because she did the same thing. She also reminded me that my generation has a new problem that they didn't. Effect ... her generation could yell from the top of their lungs and only a handful would hear. My generation can speak softly and fall on the ears of millions. But this problem is its own solution ... because so many can hear your words .... I should be mindful of what I say.
So what am I going to do .... listen ...listen to the wisdom of my elders and understand what went wrong ... then I am going to try an do it differently.
So that one day my children will say " you guys did ok .... how do you do it ...."
and I can say ..... " i listened to my mom and dad .... did what seemed to work for them and tried not to repeat their mistakes" maybe then me and my kids can sit down and have a conversation
