>After investigating the Facebook page of Thaddeus McMichael, a Southfield man arrested on child pornography charges in March, the Detriot Free Press has discovered an unusual aspect of Mr. McMichael's personal life. He has a 'waifu'.
>What is a 'waifu'? A 'waifu' is a fictional character, usually from Japanese cartoons, (or 'anime') who a person claims as a "wife". When questioned by our reporters, Mr. McMichael claimed that he had his waifu, the character Kotonoha Katsura from the show School Days, (An extremely violent and sexual series) both to 'fit in' with various internet cultures (Including the infamous hacker site '4chan' and it's subforum '/b/ - Random') and because of a lack of romantic success in real life.
>Mr. McMichael's 'waifu' is in fact underaged in the series she is from, so it is safe to assume that anybody involved in this 'waifu' phenomenon may be similar to Mr. McMichael, in that they are of a pedophiliac nature and consume illegal child pornography. While not an opinion piece, this writer suggests you keep an eye on any self-proclaimed 'waifu-havers' for evidence of pedophilia, possession of child pornography, or child molestation, etc.
