Everything Goes Numb starts off as a nice, upbeat album. The horns and the singer's speedy vocals make for some fun music, although even at this point in the album, there are uninteresting (and sometimes annoying) points in each song. But after only three songs, the music loses most of its fun, and an issue that was present at the beginning of the album, but was forgivable at the time, becomes a major issue: The album's very repetitive. The horns sound re-used from previous tracks (despite this they don't sound nearly as good), and the singer constantly uses the same fast delivery, and quickly becomes annoying. Though when the music does decide to take a little change, and become slower for a moment, it's suddenly uninteresting. Everything after track 3 just doesn't sound quite as chaotic as it did before (the main exception being We Are the Few), and when it does, it tends to be more annoying than fun (once again, other than We Are the Few), unlike the start of the album.
