Welcome to Hon, Turn on "verified only" it will slightly decrease the amount of leavers when queueing for matchmaking. If your looking for newer people try looking in the non rated section of Hon theres newer people there or atleast bad people :) hope this helped!

For items and quicker team learning (different hero combos that work well, item builds, and basically quicker but not as complete teamfight mechanic learning) midwars is the way to go... Just to learn. It'll help you learn the basics quicker, but it doesn't cover everything involved in tmm. It lacks quite a few important things involved... Not as much of a need for warding, not as crucial for creep farming, team fights are almost always a cluster fuck (a lot of tactic isn't learned in midwars in that regard). BUT, bottom line... A long midwars game is 30 min... Unlike the dreadfulness of having a team of fucktards who don't want to cc in tmm if there's just no comin' back from bad plays, making a game more like 1hr+... So that alone is something to keep in mind.

alright then...
the tactics i know and understand...what each hero/champion does and what items to build on them are a different story though.
