Winter break in 3 weeks, almost time to start playing hon/d3/wc3/etc again

i dont keep up on dota 2, and im wondering did a lot of hon players leave for dota 2 ?

i remember forums were filled with guys saying they were gone as soon as dota 2 arrived, beta or not etc

nah, dota 2 didn't really have an impact on the playerbase
ofc quite some ppl left hon for it but there are also many new players coming. all in all player numbers on EU/US are decreasing slowly, but hon is growing like crazy in asia

pretty sweet. hon is by far my favorite moba. ofc gotta appreciate the original dota (played it ever since it came out) but hon is just so clearly > league of legends and dota2 imo.

i dont know about you guys but i love everything about the hon community that people dislike about it. it's quite funny to me.
