best "safe" build is

hotbl -> phase boots -> geobane -> savage or wingbow or whatever

if you're completely dominating your lane sometimes its ok to go phase before hotbl so you can chase enemies down

the really boring and imo not as effective "farm" build is

runed axe -> steamboots or phase -> shrunken / geo / whatever

null stone
refresher for blink if you get in a tough spot
void talisman
heart

fixed

nvm my build sucks compared to this

e: if i play again i'm goin to do this. i'll call it "retardbane" and will just run around in the middle of 5 enemy heroes being like "you can't kill me huhuheuhe"

shrunken only if i need it badly, but u really shouldnt unless you're a tard who always blinks into 4 ppl.

why do people like steamboots on him?

already highest base attack speed in game
good survavibility with hotbl + blink
also geobane grants extra survavilibty and attack speed, don't need it from phase as well

phase just offers so much more in terms of early damage and mobility

ah k, just played him for the first time in a REALLY long time, went with a build almost as retarded as ectasy i guess
think imma go with smacktrickz' build next time ...

hotbl -> runed -> dmg

but i play in a lower bracket than the people above so idk
