Is HoN dying?

Alot of people ive been playing with stopped playing recently. The competitive scene is losing players. (I know the playerbase is still high) However, the old dedicated players seem to be leaving. Is it going to form a new generation of HoN players? or is HoN dying?

I play it and enjoy it. so hon is alive to me.

i've switched to playing only dota 2 beta along with other games
what ever did happen to all that promised money for hon's competitive scene? it would certainly give people a reason to play the game competitively

personally, though, i'm a dota-nostalgic little girl who doesn't like hon because of the S2 content

Only reason I play hon is cuz rl friends play it and bliz doesn't want to give me a beta for some reason.

Thinking I might move over to sc2 tho. Just to try something new.

Hon was good, S2 is always bad. I switched to DotA2.

Speaking of that, pretty soon I'm going on vacation and won't be playing HoN at all for like 3+ weeks. After I come back got so much IRL commitments I'll probably just quit HoN altogether since I'd rather get all my IRL shit taken care of instead of sacrificing some of my goals to play this game. That being said it's been awesome playing with you guys, only reason to play this horrible game anymore is because of some of the players. I might log in once in a while to 1400 mmr smurf, give lessons, or just troll these forums.
