What items do you go for? In my bracket they usually don't buy a vestment so I can go on a free rapespree from lvl 6 when I have my 3 essences. I usually rush spellshards, what do you suggest? After that I go Frostburn, which works ok. I tried Codex once, was fun.

Suggestions regarding itamz? Also do you think he should be solo mid or dual laned?

but if you do play him i suggest to go for like

semi tankish

hotbl spellshards works quite nicely, that way you can last quite long in fights and then burst really nicely

He should be played as a mid hero to try to get a good snowball going. For the same hero role (semi/nuker) pebs, tundra, mk, midas ect all do it better.

Bottle is optional for him like all mids but I'd say skip it for marchers -> chalice, then either tank/nuke or tank/semi. So helm and shards or helm into frostburn, then pick up shrunken after those in most cases.

By the way, I don't care if it's a shitty hero, I really love to play him. I usually skip HOTBL and go straight for Spellshards. Ima try HOTBL before SS next time.
