I am just trying this game out with my friend and am curious as to which hero would be easy to start with.

Emerald Warden is free this week, its one of the easiest carry to play in the game ( easy to take down as well so make sure to position properly) if you want to play carry it may be your best bet.

play accursed, he is also free, when u have low health and ur taking dmg, hit R and u go to full

if he hits R and someone does dmg double the amount of health he has remaining
will it kill him or instantly fully heal him

im not sure but i think the only person who can kill him with his ulti on is lego
