Just to let everybody know, when you experience an outage like this, it is almost never due to game servers or the chat server being down. Those have pretty much 99.99% uptime when we are not patching. The culprit here is the main database, when that has a hiccup or starts acting up, it has a cascading effect on HoN, making it hard for players to login, connect to matchmaking, connect to game servers or request the game server list.
Normally these DB issues get cleared up in 10-15 min, as this one should now be cleared up, but in the mean time we know it's frustrating to be disconnected and not know what's going on. We did identify the cause of the outage already and are taking steps to clear things up right now. We apologize for this.
