I don't understand why LoL is getting far more press, though. (And also why it's being picked up first, in most cases)

It just doesn't make sense to me.

it's player base and "urgency" as many protest that dota2 will be greater than HoN and LoL combined, these companies want to make the best out of what they can do with the "time" they have left
