I'm a pretty bad player, but holy crap one of my favorite mid heroes besides chipper

dominates a lot of heroes and is easy to gank with, pretty strong even with the nerf imo

What are the best builds for him? I usually go:

1 rune, 2x 3 int things, 2 minor and then
Bottle/boots/power supply
ghost marcher
Sac stone if I'm doing good
sheepstick
and then whatever

yeah tort very stronk

1x tango
1x health pot
2x int things
2x totems

steam boots
power supply
bottle
chalice
nomes wisdom
null stone
push stick
sheep stick

dont get sac stone, very bad item

spellshards 3 and codex 5 is the best build, imo
start with robe of magi + health pot, save remaining for later

1 rune, 2x 3 int things, 2 minor and 1 hp pot
bottle
power supply
boots -> STEAM BOOTS
nullstone (depending on team)
shrunken
sheep

this would be a "standard" build

but you can go portal key after boots then nullstone shrunken, sheep

as rowe sated if you go nomes, start with guardian ring then upgrade to ring of teacher for extra tower push potential

oh yea I used to get nomes and steamboots before, but it just makes easier for me to gank with ghostmarcher

and i get null instead of sac stone when they have lots of single target spells o_o

ill stop getting sac stone then

ok i guess everyone saying steamboots

portkey is only when you're getting really good farm? or is that situational

edit: Oh when do you get 2nd skill usually? I get one skill at lvl 6 and then just do stun+bonds until lvl 10-11 when I get ult twice

well if you're as bad as you claim to be steamboots are only as effective when micro'd properly

ie. drink for mana + health on agi
more damage on int
more hp on str



ide say really good farm and semi situational

also the more fun build, if you really want to smash some pubs is

ghost marchers
glow stone
blessed orb
portkey

then later in the game u turn blessed orb into sheep stick, and glow stone into frostwolf.

vs heavy physical dmg you can go frostfield inbetween,

pretty much any item works on tort...

every item is situational imo
its hard to even give a "perfect" item lineup vs any team

tort is wasted mid, his rune control is weak

he's a dominant side lane solo
