Big noob to HoN here.

Coming from LoL, thinking HoN would be a bit more balanced, and require some sort of cerebral function.

I know how to basically "play" the game, farm, kill shit, blah blah. I was pretty good at LoL.

But, here I just have no idea whats going on.

I die all the damn time, everyone tells me my items are garbage. (I just buy recommended stuff)

I feel like I'm constantly 4 levels behind, keep getting 3 shotted, etc.

Can anyone provide some helpful tips for a beginner please?

Just try to play much, play nostats and stuff try to watch some replays with pros playing etc

Look at the hon forum and read the guides on how to Skill correctly and get the right items

What I would recommend is trying to play heroes like those that you liked from LoL so you can start off.

what i always tell people is try to replicate what you see others doing to the best level of comfort if you think it looks interesting
if someone rapes you mid with a certain gay playstyle/build, try it next game
eventually you'll be able to play enough to evolve others' playstyles and shit into your own and then you should be confident and solid like my D

edit: the reason i don't say to watch replays is because, as long as you're competent, evolving around people of your skill is much MUCH better than trying to do what some faggot did at dreamhack
i never study replays, the only game i'll do that for is SC2, and even then i prefer to just mass practice vs a partner
