I recently starting playing HoN seriously and raised my win rate from 50% to 56% in a matter of weeks (with a total of 1,000+ games played)

But everytime I play match making I get held back by pubs vs teams who cooperate.

Any advice on advancing to the next tier?

feel the same its the reason i take breaks from hon at some points and dont play for a week or too

I'm looking forward to February tourney
but I hate the fact I have to play on EU servers when I live in USW

what i did was find out kids played dota in high school and started playing with them
i had already done some competitive dota at the time (was terrible compared to now), and then we got to playoffs in open CEVO with my high school team, now we've won over $2000 in prizes from two local tournaments (1 dota and 1 hon)
even if your team isn't completely 100% even in terms of skill, as long as you have people with whom you can have fun and are competent (we have one player who has borderline downs and is trapped 1650-1750 solo playing) you can improve yourself



TL;DR find some kids around your skill who you can have fun with and play with them (no elitist buttfuck, guy who says "lol im not even trying stfu", etc)
