Want to try HoN. I looked it up and saw I had to pay, is there a legit, legal way without paying to try it. Like maybe a trial or demo?

You can be invited.
You'll get a trail key sent to your email which you can register with and play 10 "nostats" games.

However, most users at this forums sells them for 10-20fg each.
You might be able find a kind soul who will send it to you for free.
