I play hon mostly, but a couple RL friends play League of legends so i want to get a few games in

is there any like list which shows which heroes from hon are similar to which heroes in LoL?

LoL is basically hon/dota except they take all the skills, slight remake them and mix them all together

to the best of my knowledge there are none that are comparable. Around half of the hon heros are very similar to dota counterparts, however that just doesn't hold true for lol.

you won't find any similarities
sure, there are some heroes whose abilities are similar (twitch having life drain like terrorblade/pugna from dota, or annie's ult being similar to infernal/malphas), but no one will have an entirely similar ability set
it's best to just play around and find your favorite
personally, my favorite was kennen (energy-based hero, it's fun to be able to spam endlessly after being limited by mana), but after playing enough LoL and then playing some more HoN, i stopped playing LoL because it was similar to playing DotA, then HoN, and then attempting to play DotA again - you just can't stand it
