sb is probably one of my favorite carries but not sure which build is best for him

I usually go the +22 atk boots, runed axe, frostburn for survivability, and then wingbow, but I think there probably is a better build

let me rap this game up and i will give you a couple of builds

well if you're having a great farm this is my usual build

ghostmarchers
runed axe
frostburn
split frostburn to geo then frostwolf
then a nullstone can be viable ( depending on the game ofc )
then i usually finish it off with a wingbow / savage

or if your start is slow and you cant really get any good farm i suggest you just go for a frostburn since it will help you survive then after that you kinda go what you need ( and at this point it should be around 30th min or so ) so a runed axe would pretty much be a waste

or you could go the typical route

ghost marchers
ra
frostburn
savage
wingbow
and 1 spare slot for whatever you need



i personally prefer the 1st build since well i just love it

it gives ( if start is good / decent )
good farm ability
awesome survivability
decent / high dps ( usually depends on how good your farm is and how fast you get your items )
great statsboost which means your illusions will be pretty darn powerful ( thats why i usually go wingbow over savage in most cases )
it gives good chase

but i guess the itembuild you decide to go for is more of an personal liking as i said i prefer the 1st build

EP because it just suck
charged hammer: all you will gain from it is extra attackspeed and a chance to proc which is pretty useless, if you got geo for example this item will give you close to nothing
sotm seriously what does it give? like -10 sec cd and +2 slashes? thats a nice way to waste 4k gold
shroud lol for what reason would you even go this?
portal key, okay there are SOME cases it's okay to buy this item but in 95% of the time it's just a waste of 2000 gold so i wouldn't reccomend buying it
steamboots well as much as i love the stats gain from steamboots ( which is the reason i buy them on 95% of carrys ) the +10 stats cant be compared to the chase ability from ghostmarchers
post haste, well they give lots of ms which you might think is good, wrong if this is earlygame you should never buy em, the only titme you buy posthaste is when you are full of items and got no room for TP

thanks undead, i usually did the split thing with frostburn on other carries but i didnt think to do it on sb

and does savage mace stack with frostburn? Isn't frostburn and savage both attack modifiers?

you like geo on melee carries? i usually find it a pain in the ass cuz the images get in the way a lot. geo is way better for range carries imo

Some melee carriers benefit quite a bit from geo. Magebane for example just wrecks teams with it.
But the item itself is still really good for any carry.

not much to choose over, its either the build undeadgad said or runed axe > whispering helm > symbol of rage > savage mace/wingbow

laning phase:
agi shield
soulscream ring
power supply
plain boots

mid game:
phase boots
frostburn
runedaxe
powersupply

the final solution:
phase boots
geo
frostwolfsskull
runedaxe
savage
(wingbow or shrunken depends on your enemys)

i love geos on swift just for his passive "counter attack" ^^ all squishy supporter getting punished if they your illus^^
