So, fraps is like an Ingame recorder right?
And you use Vegas 5.0 or w/e to smash it all together with music and effects?


But whenever you record with fraps, does it save to a AVI file?

fraps is an ingame recorder yes
i used Video magic 4.4 quite simple shit nothing fancy
saves as and regular video file, .wmp or smt like that i dunno

Easy to cut and paste?

So lets say i record my game.
its 40 min long.

at 24 min, 34 min and 38 min shit goes down.
Is it easy to cut and mix with it?

well if you're recording a game for 40 min with fraps you better have lots of free space on hardrive since ~1 minute~ can take like up to 4gb depending on resolution and settings and shit
